We both got out of bed together, I hovered while he gave consent for an A-line to be removed and gave a few orders. Then jumped up and down excitedly, OUR first page!!! 12:29 am - Nick's second page. 3:40 am, Nick's third page...they're his problem now. But look how he has his stuff all set up for the first day of rounds! Doesn't it remind you of the first day of school?! He wrote his first prescription the other day--for a narcotic!! Have we really come this far??
Needless to say, Nick is enjoying every minute. And YES, he still pops out of be like a piece of toast. Life is GOOD!
Happy Valentines Day, Love. I’m one lucky girl to be spending life with you.

Congrats! Hope you are enjoying the new lifestyle. That is soo awesome, we are SOO jealous!
Have a great summer.
Best,
Michelle
I had many of the same feelings the first time Burke returned a page and introduced himself as Dr. O'Neal! Fortunately for him, he just got to tell them that he was not in house and they'd have to call whoever was. Very doctor like, I thought! Sounds like you're adjusting well. I sure do miss our Copeley days though! :)
That is hilarious. That pager is not all it's cracked up to be. I'm sure they'll be days you want to hammer it into the ground.
This blog is fabulous, I have officially bookmarked it! Your girls are too cute!

So...Nick really brings that nasty coat home? Here in Iowa, we have lockers for that sort of thing. Oh, well, not everywhere can be as nice as here.
Was that NARCOTIC PRESCRIPTION for YOU or a patient? :) and P.S. What's a "page"?
